Our Home is Dying
Where is our "Home"?
We're not talking about the normal "house" where we sleep, eat, grow, etc. But it is the Earth. The only astronomical object known that can harbor life. It is irreplaceable because there's no other planet that could provide all the things a man needs in order to live. It is our home, a place where we grow with one another.
It is only one but what are we doing to it? Why are we destroying our Mother Earth?
Our role as a citizen is to preserve our nature. To maintain its condition, we should always look after the things that could harm our environment. What are the factors of human activities that can affect or destroy the natural beauty of the earth?
The following are some examples of the activities humans do that affects the resources of the Earth :

Deforestation is the clearing, destroying, or otherwise removal of trees through deliberate, natural or accidental means.
The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems for indigenous people.

Pollution
It is something introduced into the environment that is dirty, unclean or has a harmful effect.
Long-term health effects from air pollution include heart disease, lung cancer, and respiratory diseases such as emphysema. Air pollution can also cause long-term damage to people's nerves, brain, kidneys, liver, and other organs.
Water pollution affects and kills organisms that depend on these water bodies.
